City of Manila – RCMB-NCR held another series of seminar on employee discipline and expanded maternity leave in Pasig City.
Some 78 participants from 38 organized and unorganized companies became the latest beneficiaries of the Branch seminar when RCMB-NCR conducted said activity on May 28 at Astoria Hotel.
The seminar is in coordination with A Society of Advocates for Peace and Progress (ASAPP, Inc.). ASAPP is an active partner of NCMB when it comes to promotion of LMC in the workplace.
RCMB-NCR Director Feliciano R. Orihuela, Jr. led the seminar for employers and employees located in Pasig, Pateros, Mandaluyong, Marikina and San Juan cities.
The participants were oriented on the topics, Employee Discipline and Expanded Maternity Leave.
Director Orihuela discussed Employee Discipline while Atty. Gerard Peter C. Mariano delivered a lecture on Expanded Maternity Leave and its IRR.
“We would like to bring closer our programs and advocacies in said areas for industrial peace,” Orihuela said.
The venue is the suitable place to gather the participants because of its strategic location and the capacity to hold a number of participants from said cities, the Director said.
“It takes a lot determination to make this seminar a success. That is why we are thankful for the presence of employers and employees from different companies and ASAPP officers in this entire activity,” he said.
After the activity, Director Orihuela and ASAPP officers distributed certificate of participation/attendance for the participants.
