City of Manila – RCMB-NCR held another seminar on employee discipline and two-tiered wage system in Las Piñas City. The activity was the 2nd phase intended to capacitate the LMC sub-committees on productivity and grievance.
Some 53 participants from 28 organized and unorganized companies became the latest beneficiaries of the Branch seminar when RCMB-NCR conducted said activity on June 25, 2019 at Eurotel Hotel. The Branch reserved forty (40) slots for confirmed participants but the number surged to more than fifty (50) when those who attended the AWS last year showed up at the seminar.
The seminar is in coordination with A Society of Advocates for Peace and Progress (ASAPP, Inc.). ASAPP is an active partner of NCMB when it comes to promotion of LMC in the workplace.
RCMB-NCR Director Feliciano R. Orihuela, Jr. led the seminar for companies’ participants from the South, Muntinlupa Taguig Parañaque Las Piñas cities.
The participants were given lectures on Employee Discipline and Two-Tiered Wage System.
Director Orihuela discussed Employee Discipline while NWPC Supervising LEO Merlita R. Cas talked about Two-Tiered Wage System.
“We would like to gather the companies from the South to benefit from the seminar,” Orihuela said.
The venue is the suitable place for a number of participants not only because of the location but also of the size of the function room, the Director said.
“We consider the seminar a success. This is so because in just a short time, we were able to have more than 50 participants,” he said.
After the activity, Director Orihuela distributed certificate of participation/attendance for the participants.
